Linkline Co., Ltd. supports the advanced technology originating in Japan and leading Japanese companies to have presence in the Alsace region of France. As a European project, in December 2017 we held a product briefing session on three SMEs that decided to advance to Alsace at ipn-Eurocentre, a business base in Colmar (South of Strasbourg).

Also on the same day, we held a press conference under the participation of executives from the Grandest Region (Champagne & Lorrain & Alsace) governments and Colmar City. Consul-General Sato from Consul-General of Japan in Strasbourg participated. The event was reported by local newspapers and specialist magazine very positively.

Along with Japanese companies already in operation, about 10 Japanese companies are active and it is hoped that future developments will be made as a Japan cluster in Alsace. In December 2018 as well, we are planning business talks and local press conferences with several companies that have decided to enter European markets via Alsace.

In 2019, we plan to organize the Robo-Tech Symposium in BioValley. Based on products and technologies, we will select several companies, and we will organize an event with Alsatian local equivalent companies. From this kind of activity, companies will be able to start the European market survey / joint development plan / set up of manufacturing and distribution base. Thus, the leading Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises can demonstrate the high-tech skills.
